The future of sd cards is healthier than ever with the introduction of the new SDXC format. The mobile phone industry has embraced the new SDXC cards and many of the mobile phone manufacturers are implementing the SDXC technology into their range of phone over the coming months.
The majority of mobile phones used today already contain the sd card slot. The percentage of mobiles phones using SD technology is around 80% and climbing.
